The shop of the museum is also a shop of crafts!
The team of the museum is very attentive to the quality of the objects sold in the museum's shop and to the choice of the creators manufacturing their products. It opts for short circuits and items made in France : the makers of these items commit on the origin of their raw material. Each year, new creators join the museum's shop and provide jewels, practical or decorative objects, mostly made in wood and marquetry... but not only!
The workshop from Revel, Amaryllis, provides bookmarks made in local or precious wood. Cap Dal Mas, designer and producer of games, toys and little presents made in the wood of the Black Mountain provides simple but good quality products. Romuald Clémenceau turns delicate wooden cups and other tea bowls. Design Pyrénées Editions make us proud to be the only french point of sale of their famous «maches block» designed by Frank Fontana and produced by a workshop located in the Gers. P2 Atelier produces a large range of wooden pens and corkscrews. Corentin Tavernier produces jewels and notebooks in marquetry...
But this is only a small part of the 400 reference numbers you can discover in our shop.
The bookstore of the Museum is made up of more than 100 items. All the fields from wood to art are referenced with books from the French editions Vial and Plume De Carotte, based in Toulouse. Children's books are not forgotten with more than 50 titles selected with care. The latest products like animated books - so-called popups - are also provided. You can also find a selection of wooden postal cards ready to be sent.
